Callie has worked in the food and beverage industry on 3 continents. After 5 years on private yachts in The Bahamas and the US East Coast, he returned to Cape Town in 2007.
Since then he has co-authored and styled 7 baking and cookbooks, 3 of which were nominated for the prestigious World Gourmand Cookbook Awards.
He has worked on more than 200 TV commercials and many more advertising, editorial, packaging, catalogue and stop-motion projects. He is a regular content and column writer for magazines, websites and tv programs and has regularly appeared in front of camera. But behind the camera, making his food the hero, is where he is the happiest.
Having penned so many recipes for his own titles, Callie has become the go to person for recipe development and testing.
His work on projects for all the major local supermarkets , and many more European chains, combined with his travel and work history, means he has a unique understanding of the food preferences for each location and client.
